Landscape Irrigation Monitoring System
Welcome to Dendron's Landscape Irrigation Monitoring System. Our goals are threefold: 1. Help you better monitor your site’s landscape water use 2. Save you money 3. Provide the information you need to make better management decisions.
In short, for the owner, property manager, or landscape contractor LIMS helps your answer the question: “How are we doing, landscape water-wise?”
The Landscape Industry Standard The Green Industry and most water providers throughout California recognize the BMP5 formula as the standard method of determining the maximum allowable water application for a site. Simply stated this formula is the landscaped area times a weather factor. LIMS uses this standard, as well as others, to help you analyze landscape water use at your site. (For a more detailed explanation of BMP5, see White Papers.)
What LIMS Provides You
Select Site – The ability to monitor landscape water use on one site, or multiple sites, anywhere in California.
ET – Current evapotranspiration (weather) information downloaded from the California Department of Water Resources CIMIS database and a recommendation for irrigation controller program percentage adjustments.
Add Readings – Take your own irrigation water meter readings! No waiting for your water bills. Get more timely information and better means of control.
Application Rates – Is your landscape crew doing a good job of irrigation management? Is a new SMART controller justified? Are there potential savings for your site? Information from this page can objectively answer these and other often-asked questions.
Graph Usage – LIMS graphs present a great WOW visual representation of highly technical data that are easy to understand. Graphs are the pictures that speak a thousand words. Advanced Features: LIMS can be configured for a variety of users, giving each different system privileges and capabilities, linked to your web site, or provide alerts. For more information contact us at info@dendronlmc.com. Check Out LIMS for Your Site Navigation – Click on any of the main menu headings to review LIMS and what it can provide for you. Starting to use LIMS on your site is quick and easy (and very inexpensive)! You only need to provide: 1. A site ID and the name you wish to use 2. The site’s zip code location 3. The square footage per meter. (We can help you gather this information if you don’t have it.)
We look forward to assisting you in monitoring your landscape water use and control costs! LIMS6306 |
